I started Archipelago as someone who’s felt that firsthand. Over the years, I’ve cycled through cars I loved—from a Craigslist Porsche 944 with no clear coat, to an AutoX-prepped Subaru, to an M3 on snow tires, and eventually, an air-cooled 911 Turbo. Each time, I had to stretch my budget further to make it work.

Like many enthusiasts, I’ve stayed up late browsing listings, watching Porsche GT cars and E30 M3s climb past MSRP, and wondering if the window was closing. Archipelago is our answer.
